I had the pleasure of hosting a webinar for EVCOM (Event & Visual Communication Association) on neurodiversity in the workplace. I wanted to make it as practical and valuable as possible, so in addition to sharing my own journey—from creative production and leadership roles to becoming a neurodiversity advocate, coach, and counsellor—I invited some inspiring guests: Sarah Clifford, Susie Holm, and Lindsay MacDuff.
We explored the practical tools they’re using to create more inclusive workplaces, particularly for neurodivergent colleagues. These included initiatives like employee passports (or “user manuals”) and the Genius Finder from Genius Within CIC, all designed to encourage understanding and support for diverse working styles.
I’m hopeful that the ideas we discussed will encourage more inclusive practices across our industry.
If you missed it live, you can still catch the session here!
